In 1990, she moved to the United States where she met and married her husband Myron. Myron and Zoraida moved to Blythewood, SC. They strongly believe in treating people with dignity and respect.

Jerry a native of Chesterfield County, is a graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service, Houston, Texas. He started a career in the funeral business upon graduating from high school in 1993 and worked for more than 7 years before relocating to Houston. Jerry has returned to Dunbar to fulfill his passion to serve the families of our community. He has a son Jaydan.

Shellie is a Michigan native who came to South Carolina to join the Dunbar staff in February of 2008. She is a member and volunteer with the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Columbia. She is also on the board for the Greater Columbia Widowed Persons Organization. She is married to Curtis and they have three children.

Greg is a native of Columbia, graduated from Chapin High School and the University of South Carolina. He has been employed by Dunbar since 1986 and is a Fifth Generation family member. A member of the South Carolina Funeral Directors Association, he is currently serving as past-president and is a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church.

Donald Kay is a retired Professor of English, having taught for fiftenn years at the University of Alabama and retiring as Director of Development Research at the University of South Carolina. He holds a PH.D. degree from the University of Tennessee. He was formerly Executive Director of the South Atlantic Modern Language Association and Editor of the South Atlantic Review. He has been with Dunbar for more than 5 years.

Jessica began her career in the funeral business in 1998, prior to attending Gupton –Jones College of Mortuary of Science. She graduated in 1999 and became licensed in 2001. She joined Dunbar in 2008. She is a member of Beth Shalom Synagogue and is active in many capacities within the Synagogue. She is also on the board of Joy in the Morning, Center for Life Losses.
